MASSIVE HERD REDUCTION!!
We are reducing the herd in order to make it more manageable. These are my keeper animals, so it is a very hard decision. All of these animals are well behaved and friendly. Please check out the sale page for details.
Having grown up on small farms, it was only natural that we would eventually end up owning a farm. With each animal that we added, we would ask ourselves if we felt complete. It was not until we added our sweet goat girls that the farm feels complete!
We chose Nigerian Dwarf goats after much research and discussion. Having a small farm, we felt that the smaller goats would be a better fit (which meant we could have more of them!). They have the sweetest personalities! We chose good quality breeding stock, and continue to add to our herd.
We have added several very well bred Nubian goats to our herd! Look for 2019 Breeding Schedule. It will include our new girls as well as our Nigerians
We are members of the American Goat Society as well as American Dairy Goat Association. We are on DHI, and we are showing our goats at local shows. We will start on Linear Appraisal this year. Our herd is tested annually for CAE.
Chickens give us eggs in abundance, and our goats give us enough milk to drink, make cheese and soaps.
We think our farm is the perfect little hideaway!
